The Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare Level 5 qualification is designed for Deputy Managers, Registered Managers and senior leaders responsible for children’s residential homes. This programme develops the strategic leadership, safeguarding oversight and operational management skills required to lead safe, nurturing and compliant services in line with standards set by Ofsted.

It is the recognised qualification for Registered Managers in children’s residential settings in England.
