What does the qualification cover?
The course will deliver engaged people with increased self-confidence and self-esteem and the much-needed knowledge, skills, and guidance from industry experts on how to go about starting and maintaining their own business. All participants will have a practical personal action plan to follow which help them along the pathway out of poverty and into self-employment. Plus, we will support all participants to access the New Enterprise Allowance which is a package of support aimed at would-be entrepreneurs aged 18 and over and currently in receipt of Jobseeker’s Allowance, Universal Credit, or Employment and Support Allowance, or those on Income Support who are also a lone parent, sick, or disabled.
Who is it suitable for?
People who need support to overcome barriers to getting jobs. People who need support to be proficient and self-sufficient in job hunting. Within that sector, sub-sectors to include: – people with an interest in setting up their own business, young people, NEETs, people with a need to increase confidence, motivation and self-esteem.
